Branding green energy innovation

The brief was to develop a visual identity for a new energy research institute – the Energy Technologies Institute, backed by government but part funded by the private sector (Catrepillar, EDF, Eon, Shell, Rolls-Royce). Our strategy was to position the ETI as a place where ideas could receive the support they needed to be developed and ultimately deployed. The identity therefore had to convey a sense that the organisation helped act as a catalyst for turning ideas into action. I collaborated successfully with ETI and its key corporate partners. The ETI was successfully launched with a visual identity, guidelines, website and printed collateral. It’s now a fully-fledged research organisation developing and deploying sustainable energy technologies globally – and I’m delighted to have been part of this ground-breaking approach.
